Scuba Diver

Scuba Diver Course with DIVE Northampton

Thinking of getting certified for an upcoming holiday but don't have the time to put into a regular diver course?

The Scuba Diving program is for students who do not have the time to complete the Open Water Diver program, and provides you with the training and experience required to dive in open water environments under the supervision of a dive professional.

You will earn the Scuba Diver certification, which can be upgraded to the Open Water Diver certification with additional training.
Course From... £165
- Why Scuba Diver?

The Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification that is perfect for people who run out of time to complete their full Open Water training or who decide that they would prefer to limit their training and always dive under the supervision of a diving professional.

The Scuba Diver rating allows you to get certified quickly and easily by minimizing time constraints. With the Scuba Diver certification you must dive under the direct supervision of a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor or higher professional every time you dive, to a maximum depth of 12 metres.

- What do I need to start?

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn their certification. You must be older than the age of 10 to begin the Scuba Diver program.

 - What will I do?

You will be given access to the full suite of training materials and videos when you sign up for the course. These you can study at home, at work, on the move,,, just about anywhere. Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing pool dives, knowledge development sessions and by making two open water dives.
- How long will it take?

PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you.

As a general rule, this option will take 3 days, plus 1 evening.
- What will I need?

Be able to swim 200 metres and float for 10 minutes
