Cost - £25

- What will I do?

When you participate in a Try Scuba Diving program, you discover excitement and adventure - freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling!

After completing your online training program, you will get a brief presentation from an Instuctor conducted at the Dive Centre whilst we sort out your equipment. We will then head off to the local pool where you’ll enter the water ready for your scuba adventure. After you and your instructor strap on your scuba gear, you’ll have the chance to dive down in up to a maximum of 3 metres. As soon as you Try Scuba Diving, you’re on your way to an internationally recognised certification.

Don't worry if all this sounds complicated, the plan is to just go diving, play with some simple skills with your instructor if you want or simply play and have fun and get a head start on your Open Water Diver certification!

To go on your Try Scuba adventure, you must at least be 8 years old or older. You will need to complete a Try Scuba Medical form and bring this with you on the day of the event. You must be able to answer NO to all of the health questions. If you answer YES, you will need to be signed off as fit to dive by your Doctor before you can do a Try Scuba. There are additional forms you will have to complete here at the Centre on the day of the Try Scuba.

- Where can I go from here?

As soon as you Try Scuba Diving, you're on your way to an internationally recognized certification. That's because you may learn skills used in the Open Water Diver course during your Try Scuba adventure.

- How long will it take?

Get ready to dive today. Because you will have completed all of the program training online before you come to the Centre, we will be able to run through a briefing and you'll be off to enter the water quickly and ready for your scuba adventure.

- What will I need?

A sense of adventure
Minimum age: 10
Be able to swim at least 50 metres

- How do I book?

We hold these events most Sundays but they do get booked up a bit in advance. You can book by using the Book Now Button at the top of the page or pop into the Dive Centre for a chat and to make your booking.
