 The recently announced Lockdown easing will have an effect on the services we offer here at DIVE Northamton. As a result of the Government's Lockdown Policy changes, the shop remains closed for retail sales although you are able to purchase through our online store for home delivery. CLICK HERE to go to our online store. We hope that it won't be too long before we can open the shop properly, albeit with appropriate safeguards and social distancing measures.
Now that people are allowed to go out and travel for sport and exercise, the Dive Centre is now open for Air fills, Shooting Fills, Oxygen Fills and Equipment Servicing. For example, our Technical Services team can supply:
Air, Shooting & Oxygen Fills and anything that requires on-site assisstance, including high pressure Air and Oxygen fills, we will help you with while you wait to avoid the need for multiple visits. You will however, be asked to wait in your vehicle or outside during the filling process and we will be operating a one out, one in policy with only one customer allowed in the Centre at a time. For servicing, you may now bring your equipment in to the Centre. We will be operating a one out, one in policy with only one customer allowed in the Centre at a time. You will be asked to leave the equipment with us and we will contact you when it is ready for collection. Servicing is available for BCDs, Regulators and Computers/Watches as these are completed in-house by our team. Cylinder Testing and Dry Suit repairs are not currently available until at least the next phase of the Lockdown lifting takes place. As we generally only list items we have in stock, we will aim to ship direct from our storage facility, any purchases within 2 working days of order. Training however remains affected. In order to meet the requirements for Social Distancing and following the closure of the pool, we have taken the decision to postpone all training and Club pool sessions until Sunday 1st June at the earliest when the Government has indicated that the next phase of the Lockdown easing may be implemented. Any courses that have been booked will be re-scheduled once the restrictions have been lifted and we have an idea of what options are available. To ensure that no one misses out on their course, the usual 6 month expiry date from the date of booking for courses has been extended to 6 months following the lifting of the Lockdown restrictions that allow us to access the pool and the Open Water facilities. That being said, things are changing rapidly so we advise everyone to check the website at regular intervals to check for any updates and get the latest information. In line with current medical advice, we would also ask that all people who meet the criteria for self-isolation or are in the high-risk categories to stay at home.
